Mute icon

Just turned my X7 ultimate on and have a red mute button at the top right corner and no sound
Have tried the mute / sound button on the control and turned sound up
Have picture but can't seem to get rid of this and get sound back
Please help )

Is this in android, kodi or both?

Kodi..don't use android if this helps

In kodi play something and press the menu button, you should now have the bottom menu pop up. Now go to the speaker icon and press here, there you can adjust the volume. It's normally the top one, move it to the right and after you have done this scroll to the bottom and save as default.

No hasn't worked..adjusted the volume but still there and no sound ;((

Done it..came out of Kodi and tried show box and all ok there , went back into Kodi and seems to have reset
The box at present does seem to have a mind of it's own and selects itself lol

Hi if it happens again try going out of kodi and go, setting, other, more setting and apps. Then scroll down to kodi and click here, force stop then clear cache. Go back out restart your box and check..
