Adequate broadband suppliers

Just after a bit of feedback guys n gals, am with vermin and in the nw and pay £31 p/m for a 100 meg package and bb only. Am on the phone to them every month as the speeds are crap to say the least but get fobbed off with 'there is a problem in your area'and should have been sorted b4 Christmas but now March they reckon. Am totally sick of the bull from them now and their peak time dips. Anyone in the area have any ideas who to go with when I cancel? Preferably a provider with stable speeds at peak times, help!!

Bt infinity is the main competition for fibre (i believe sky use their infrastructure). I think max speed is 75mbs so not as fast as vm.
To be honest, if you believe the reviews all are as bad as the others and are money grabbing shysters. By and large vm has been ok for me with on average 1 outage per month. But it is pricey.
