Hi Everyone. I was watching a movie on Droidbox T8 earlier tonight. When suddenly my screen changed to Skype call. My Skype was online on my Laptop so the person calling thought I was on that. I clicked on to receive the call, and I heard the person clearly. But i didn't know how I could respond to them. I have a VIP Air Mouse bought in the package with my Droidbox. My question is. Is the little hole on my remote control a mic? How could I talk to the person on Skype. Do I need any other applications Enabled etc, to voice chat on my Droidbox?? Thank you.

I've got a C920 webcam working with a T8 for Skype, see http://www.droidboxforums.com/posts/9537/
However it is a bit pricey considering you don't get 1080 in Skype on Android, only Windows, and if you only want a microphone, there are cheaper alternatives you could test.

In terms of a microphone, see if anyone has a USB one you could borrow. If it works, you can grab one for yourself, if it doesn't work, no money wasted! If it does work, would you let us know in this thread - http://www.droidboxforums.com/threads/usb-devices.90/ some time?

Another option would be seeing if a bluetooth headset would work. If a friend has one, see if you can get it set up via Bluetooth, and get audio to/from the bluetooth headset. You can pick them up for a fiver or less, but no idea on sound quality.
