I missed my screen capture when I started using the droidbox,
did some searching and the best I came up with was screenshot Ultimate.
it gives you loads of choices and does not need a rooted device.
I found the others would bring up a message saying the app had been given permission.

I just tend to use AirDroid right now, as it removes one step of transferring the picture to my PC (most of the time I use the screenshots for blog posts). Think it does need root for that particular function though. It also rotates the preview 90 degrees and hides part of the screen, but as long as you can see the TV still, it works well enough!
