Kodi freezing after load up

So I run it and it works fine for maybe 30 seconds, then the video freezes leaving the audio playback still continuing in the back ground. I'm running it with wookie, any idea what could be the issue please? I'm quite the technophobe so please bare that in mind when explaining to me, I'm rubbish! Thanks in advance

You don't say what droidbox you have or the version of kodi or what addon you were using but one solution to this type of problem is to experiment with the hardware acceleration settings in system - settings - video - acceleration. What you see there is dependent on the version of kodi you are running. Try toggling the different options (there are 3 in kodi 16) starting with all switched on. Report back on progress.
