Have no idea what I am doing

As the title suggests, I am brand new to all this so I literally haven't a clue what I am doing.

My step dad gave me his box has he never used it (MX Android).

I keep on being asked for a username and password...my step dad says he never had one...where do I get one?

When I do get the login information do I just access the 'XBMC' application to watch GoT etc?

Any advice would be fab!!

If you don't have a user or password then check your invoices for a 6 digit Id number and then go here....

To watch something, whilst you wait for the login details (we'll need the order information from first person, name, postcode, order ID etc first) you can manually install a repository or two, and then some add-ons. Google is your friend there, something like http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_add-ons_from_zip_files and http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_add-ons for the process, and perhaps https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-manually-install-gotv-for-xbmc/ for the Genesis add-on.
