The firmware for the T8-S isnt available, and the only way to get it done is to send your box back to droidbox.
You can get in touch with support by email or live chat on the droidbox main site.
Normally you update the T8-S using the OTA updater.
Hope this helps.

No way, there really isn't a way of doing this? That's rubbish!!

The only reason I want OpenELEC is because this is the only want to browse my Synology NFS share. If I access it via OpenELEC I can browse it fine, but when using Android XBMC whilst you can see the shares, you can't browse beneath them. I don't suppose you have any idea why this might be? The NAS is set up fine, I know this because it's accessible via OpenELEC (well it was when it was installed anyway)...

Cheers!

You will need to get in touch with droidbox directly as this is a user forum.
Might not get a reply from them for a few days...I'm just going on what's been said in the past. The T8-S comes with the updater built in so no need to flash it.
The link where you updated from says T8, sorry for the news but I'm just trying to save you time.
If you go to the main site you can find live chat or in the bottom corner (on this forum) use the contact us to email droidbox.
