Will this have an impact on the android box market ?
Unlike now tv box that is locked down for decent add ons.
You will be able to sideload xbmc onto it .
Available for coppers with prime membership .

Most boxes are used primarily for xbmc , i hardly ever use apps.

Hi joe, looked at this fire stick and looks good for £35. Don't think you can down load much but should be fine for streaming. A lot of people who buy these droidboxs want xbmc but don't no how it works, so they get all installed by the wizard also free HQzone trial and when it goes wrong they have support, email, forum and live chat where they can get help. I don't think Amazon will be very helpful when xbmc goes wrong, but if you are xbmc (Kodi) pro then sounds good and portable as it can go in your pocket. Not sure on voice control

I agree, the FireStick can take a bit of getting used to. Its not rocket science but I don't think most people would bother searching blogs to get it sorted they just want to get going straight away. Also there is not that ongoing support, you are out there on your own.

In terms of what I need it for Movies, Box sets and sport it does the job but I have to keep things bare bones and simplistic to ensure that it runs at good speed.
