I tried with the remote that came with it, I don't have a mouse I have a trackpad. Double tapping it simulates hold and drag, I tried that it didn't work.

This turned out to be the keyboard I was using. In Android mode it sends the key code for the launcher screen. Switching it to Windows mode solved the problem, although I learned ctrl+a selects all so there's little use for a home key anyway.

Now it's breaking the Ethernet on sleep with no VPN connected...

I tried it with IPVanish, if I leave it asleep for a while then it breaks the Ethernet.

Well that's me wrong, IPVanish doesn't do it, it maintains the VPN connection while sleep is active. I'll test tonight to see if it screws up if I leave it until the connection times out. EDIT: Not so wrong, if you leave it a while then it breaks the Ethernet.

Nope, I didn't buy it from them :( I didn't realise they sold boxes until after I bought it. I'm running ExpressVPN which uses OpenVPN as it's VPN library, I will test it with IPVanish but I strongly suspect it's the firmware not the app as I had an X88 Max Plus that broke the Ethernet whenever...

If the device goes to sleep with a VPN active (over Ethernet) it causes the Ethernet connection to show up as disconnected and Ethernet will not work again until you restart the box. I doubt anyone knows how to fix this, I expect it's a firmware issue (but if you do great!). Does anyone know how...

Thanks for your help the setting is actually present you have to go into settings from Droid Settings app rather than into settings via the settings icon on the launcher screen.

Thanks Nigelar but that setting isn't present on my T95Q. I'm using the trackpad of the Jelly Comb foldable Bluetooth keyboard.

Can the pointer speed be adjusted? It's not in settings and I can't find any app that does it.

The home key has been captured on this device to take me to the launcher. I have a key already for that and would prefer the home key functioned like it usually does. I can't capture the home key with External Keyboard Helper Pro so I'm guessing I probably can't change this but if anyone knows...

I fixed this by installing the app "External Keyboard Helper Pro" and remapping the enter key with it. This breaks the on screen keyboard with the remote but I never used that anyway. Still, it would be nice if you know a fix that doesn't break the remote keyboard.

The enter key sends the currently selected character on the virtual keyboard instead of enter. I notice /system/usr/keylayout/Generic.kl already contains "key 28 ENTER" which is the normal fix I see for this issue. What could be wrong? It's still acting like DPAD_CENTER.
