Some questions before purchase

Hi all,

It's my first post, so I hope it is in the right place. I'm thinking of buying the T8-S Droidbox, hoping that at my age I still be able to figure out how to use it. Two of my sons have the T8 Droidstick ones, so I have a couple of questions before I go ahead.

The first thing is, will the UI be very different from the Droidstick versions? As I will need some assistance from my sons, will they be able to instruct me regarding where to look for what? Is there much difference between Droidbox and Droidstick wizards?


The second is the remote control. Would you recommend the DroidBOX i25 or the DroidBOX VIP?

Ask our sales team for the official recommendation re VIP vs i25.
As Chris, not in anyway official DroidBOX advice, I'd stick with the VIP, cheaper and gets the job done well.
Regarding DroidSticks, I'm not sure which launcher they use, that may be different.

Our current launcher looks like this (June 2015) if it helps

Regarding the Wizard, in terms of entering a username and password, then selecting a pack to install, if your sons are happy using the DroidSticks wizard, they'll be fine with ours as well.
