XBMC Download file

Hi,

Can anyone tell me where i can download the xbmc program from. I have an rk3188 quadcore which i believe is the x7 . Also should i be using frodo or gotham ?

Hi. If it's a Droidbox X7 or a Q7 then you could download Gotham from here http://droidboxforums.com/threads/gotham-xbmc-only-for-x7-q7-devices.8/. I updated mine to Gotham from Frodo and it does run really well.

Thanks for the reply paul, I have done that but im getting the following message. add-on is incompatible due to unmet dependencies would you like to disable it on your system and also it says using 13.1 stable while 14.p stable is available a new stable version of kodi visit http:/kodi.tv for more info. Any ideas.

Also where it says to click the fix me now pack on the post from silent screaming i dont have this option in droidbox wizard ?

v12 - Frodo - latest version of XBMC (now renamed to Kodi) we officially support for iMX6 and M6 devices
v13 - Gotham - latest version of XBMC we officially support for all other devices
v14 - Kodi - Available from their own website, BUT... Our Wizard isn't yet compatible with it AND quite a few video add-ons haven't been updated to ensure compatibility just yet.

Which add-on is incompatible with Gotham btw? It may be that wiping XBMC's data ( http://www.droidboxforums.com/threads/resetting-xbmc-to-a-just-installed-state.27/ which is a part of running the Wizard correctly anyway) and re-running the Wizard - https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/wizard-updated-2015-january/ is enough to clear the problem.
If the error was for a skin you don't use, or an add-on that covers Live Outer Mongolian Sheep Wrestling you can safely ignore it.

Tried the above on new T8 but XBMC will not run and only displays dark screen after clearing Data. Cannot access the Wizard without access to XBMC. What next? Send it back?

If you get a dark screen when you open XBMC, it is quite possible you clicked the CLEAR CACHE button, not CLEAR DATA. Can you double check please?
If that doesn't help, search for
SPMC
in the Play Store application on your device. Install it, and contact us (live chat at the bottom of https://DroidBOX.co.uk or e-mail us https://droidboxforums.com/threads/what-to-include-if-you-need-to-e-mail-us.364/ ) to get the Wizard installed in SPMC.
