I've downloaded this app from google play and currently experimenting with it.
It runs under android so there doesn't appear to be any faffing around with router settings.
At the moment, I've installed it and started running kodi.
It lets me into 1channel and project free tv using the default web links which are usually blocked.
Can't remember the default icefilms web address to try that.
If you are aware of any other geo blocked addons can you post them here so I can try them?
At the moment I cannot see any performance issues although that might occur at more busy times.

I have noticed it inserts pop up adverts if the session is left idle, though these can be removed by clicking on previous screen.

Will keep you all posted. Please provide any geoblocked addons/urls.

It apparently also works with google so if you know of any blocked urls let me have them (no porn!)

1st bit of negative feedback, random intermittent pop up ads are intrusive.

Checked the icefilms website through google. Default is blocked by VM. Hotspot shield allowed access.

Update: Looks like there are daily bandwidth limits on the free version. How many mbs is a standard definition film?
Looking for hacks to overcome this...

Conclusion after further trials and research.

It (free version) works but low bandwidth daily limits mean it is practically useless for streaming, meaning you would need to get the paid for version.

Well, i do the work so you don't have to :)

Thanks for the investigations and reporting back.

Most films in DVD quality used to click in around 6/700Mb. Then the scene started releasing in 2CD format (so film was split into two files, roughly the size of a blank CD each), so more like 1.2-1.4Gb . A quick check of films with 2015 in the title shows 800-1.4Gb over at TPB. Please note NSFW adverts here - https://pirateproxy.la/search/2015/0/7/200
