Yes it is a known issue from the few of us that installed this latest LibreElec update, as ChrisM has added at the top of the LibreElec update link:- 'Please wait before flashing this, reports of issues getting to Android'.If your happy just to use L E for now stick with it but if your wanting to get back to android you will have to downgrade L E to 16.1 from here:- https://droidboxforums.com/threads/firmware-links-for-t8-s-plus-v1-devices.10001/

That link was the last official firmware for this box dated 18/5/17 from dbx installing kodi 16.1 LibreElec. It installs kodi 17x android side

I originally updated from droidbox market DBMC and
KODI seem to install ok then installed LiebeElect 17.3 ran ok.
Until I tried to boot back to android it just reboots to LiebeElect and can only be turn off by the red button.
Hoping we can solve the problem.
Thank you.

I forgot to add that I re-installed Cody 17.1 which originally was working correctly but now has the boot up problem .
I certainly did not see the warning not to update to17.3
So how do we fix this problem or do I have to send it back to droidbox.
Thank you.

Install the firmware from the link in my 1st post which will downgrade L E to Jarvis and install kodi 17.1 in android. Or as 8bitdev suggests email for support

Hi Sean
Good news and bad news.
The good news is that it boots to Drodbox home screen
DBMC 16.7 and Kodi 17.2 both work.
The bad news is when you open LibrEelec 16.1 still not able to boot back to Drodbox home screen.
Going to keep it on the home screen for now maybe find an answer to the problems later.
Thank you Sean for your time and patience it is appreciated

No probs glad you have got that sorted, the path in L E to get back to android is:- programs/ LibreElec configuration/ system/ click right on you remote/ keypad and scroll down to 'Reboot to Android'

Hi Sean
Just a little more information when you are in LibreELEC and go to systems there is not LibreELEC box on the bottom so you cannot put password for Wi-Fi in settings most of the boxes are grey out.
When you want to update with the matchstick what is the best way fromDroid box home screen or LibreELEC?
Thank you.

You put the password into LibreElec configuration (the same path I mentioned above for 'return to android') under Network as that is where the wifi settings are. Everytime I have upgraded have always done it from android and finished the upgrade with a reboot to android command. Would suggest you leave any more upgrading until dbx release the working beta LibreElec Kodi 17.3 update.

Hi Sean.
There is no LibreELEC configuration to put the password in.
I agree with you best to leave it for now . I have another box which is working ok.
Once again thank you for your time and efforts.

Which add-on did it mark as incompatible? It may not be related to LibreELEC Config. If you're using Estuary (the default skin in Kodi 17.x), then click on the Add-ons section, then Program Add-ons. Can you open LibreELEC Configuration from there? If so, head to Connections (if WiFi is enabled already in the Network area) and give it a few seconds.

Hi Chris.
The add-on that was marked as incompatible broken in repository was LibreElec This was from program add-on
When you are a LibreELEC and go to systems there is not LibreELEC box on the bottom so you cannot put a password in for Wi-Fi most of the menu boxes are greyed out.

Add-ons>Program Add-ons would be the place to start the LibreELEC Program Add-on from.
From there, can you see the Connections area OK? If so, and you're unable to enter the password from there, can you take a photo of the screen?
