Ethernet connections

Cant connect with ethernet cable. Running t95q box and ps4 through 1 tp plug. Using an adapter. Ps4 connected but t95q box wont. Any ideas?

It's a complex subject but technically what you are trying to do won't work. Read up on splitters and switches to get a better understanding.
I have a wifi extender in our spare room. I use the ethernet port to connect to the virgin tivo box to give it a stable reliable signal. I use the wifi capability to connect to my t8 mini (android box).
