Which of your boxes would you recommend? The 7 Ultimate looks like the box I need but it says only 2 USB ports, was planning on buying vip remotes with them, will this leave only 1 port?

In terms of the X7 Ultimate, there are two normal USB sockets, and one USB OTG socket as well. I use a powered USB hub to give me an additional 7 sockets. eBuyer/Maplin/Amazon usually have a good selection. Just make sure it has good reviews overall, and uses a mains adaptor.
The T8 has a higher clockspeed (CPU) and more GPU cores than the other devices. If you're never going to buy a new TV with 4K capabilities, the X7 Ultimate or Q7 should be OK.
