    ssh failing

    I don't seem to be able to connect by ssh. keep getting connection refused. any ideas? my box and laptop are connected via a hotels wifi but I can ping it ok trying to fix the usb mounting or it has been a waste bringing this thing half way round the globe with me...

    How do I get this box to read fromusb

    When I connect a NTFS usb stick, it shows up in the files list as sda1 but i get "path not found or invalid" when I select it
